    Jimmy Abbott

    Jimmy earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Texas at Austin. While attending UT, Jimmy discerned a call to ordained ministry. Immediately after graduation, Jimmy enrolled in the Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia and earned his Master of Divinity in May 2010. While in seminary, he served as Seminarian at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Alexandria, Virginia. Fr. Jimmy served as the Assistant Rector at St. Alban’s in Waco, TX from 2010 to 2012 where he worked with the young adults, youth, and taught a variety of education classes. Jimmy and his wife, Maggie live in Spring and enjoy reading and music. Jimmy also loves to play golf and write. You can follow his writing on his blog, “Blogitations on the Holy Life.” Maggie can be heard on many Sundays singing and playing the french horn during our 10:30 am service.
