Heritage Family Church of the Assemblies of God

I sincerely apologize for my typos when sharing my experience I was voice texting and that obviously didn’t work very well ha ha. I didn’t say thank you in my previous comments I apologize as I don’t remember names but you were always so wonderful to us so kind so giving so caring. Neither Kevin or I had ever felt covered in love and care like that before. If we ever go back to Aberdeen I definitely will be visiting the Heritage Family Church! Again ….. thank you all so much for saving our lives God bless you all!

My boyfriend and I were beyond down on our luck. We were homeless, friendless, jobless …. We literally had eachother and that was it. We walked past this little church and thought, well a little prayer couldn’t hurt so we went in. I had never really been to church before I had no idea what to expect. The second we walked in I felt this overwhelming sense of being. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. We sat down and when the pastors wife started singing…tears just rolled Down my cheeks but I wasn’t really sad I trulyI believe I felt God for the first time in my life. Then I knelt I’m front of the pastor as he said a prayer for me. Tears streaming down my faces. I felt other members touch my shoulders, my head…. Praying for me. We went back every Sunday until we moved. If we didn’t show up the pastor would come to the deli where I worked to make sure I was ok. I was really sad to leave the church because I Finally found one that felt I can call home what really learn to have a relationship with God and learn blind faith. I’ve been lll loo for I’ve been searching for a church like that so that feeling of being close to God that never had before I haven’t ever been able to find it since. Heritage dsmimiynjmllls add dad."0. church saved our lives I believe the first day there a woman Hannon my boyfriend money she had no idea who you were we got invites to dinner we got food given to us so many blessings came to us and just at first week ever going it was the most amazing thing I will never ever forget that feeling that I have my first walked in there Immediately I felt close to God, immediately I felt like I was home. That was 11 years ago, I’m not sure if any of them remember us but we will never forget them.
