My mother Gloria Abad Escalera found this church, Harbor church in 2007 and it was every Sunday located in the auditorium of Hoover High in El Cajon blvd. She would say that the service always made her feel complete and always brought her peace. At that time our family was going through a lot but with my father over drinking alcohol and my grandfather recently passing away. She would convince us to go to church with her but we were not used to it. little by little couple of my brothers and sisters would go starting with one and then two and so on until all five of our brothers and sisters would go and we would also invite our friends to tag along with us. I am grateful because if it wasn’t for this church my mom or family would have never found out about god. I am grateful of my mother and the people in the church. If it wasn’t for my mother we would have been lost on the path of the enemy. Unfortunately my mother Gloria abad Escalera passed away January 8, 2021 and I would like a prayer to be made for her so she can Rest In Peace and for her soul to be blessed. Also a prayer for each and one of my brothers and sisters to not loose faith and to heal.
