Ben York

Ben York is the founding and lead pastor of Guide Church Baptist. Ben, his wife, Ashley, and their two children live in Hilliard where Guide Church Baptist began on October 30, 2011. Ben was raised in a pastors home with three brothers and one sister. He was saved at the age of five and surrendered to ministry his junior year of high school and felt the calling to eventually be a Pastor. Ben graduated from Baptist Bible College, Springfield Missouri in 2005. While there he met his wife Ashley and they were married in the summer of 2005. He served as a youth pastor in Florida, and Oklahoma for the next six years. His father Kent York is a successful evangelist and founder of Ignite Ministries A team effort. When Pastor Ben made the decision to plant a church in Columbus, Ohio. His two younger brothers Caleb, and Daniel with their families felt God leading them to play major roles in Guide Church Baptist. Kevin Pena and his wife Kari of Bible Baptist Church in Chickasha, Oklahoma would also join the team to start this brand new exciting church.
