Ron McCreary

I was born and grew up in and around Pittsburgh and am a leading-edge Baby Boomer. My family moved to Fort Lauderdale when I was 14 and in the ninth grade. I graduated from Fort Lauderdale High School in 1964 and went off to Florida State University, where I graduated in 1969 with a Bachelor of Music Education. In the early 1980s, working for the State of Florida Department of Education, I felt a call to the ordained ministry. I entered Candler School of Theology, Emory University in January of 1982 and graduated with my M.Div. in the summer of 1984.
