• Jim Miller

    Jim is originally from Salem, Ohio. He is married to Betsy Miller, who is also from Ohio. They will be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary in June 2015. They are the proud parents of three children, Rebecca 19, Zachary 17, and Lauren 11. Jim began pastoral ministry in 1988. He began his studies at Wesley Theological Seminary in June of 1988 after graduating from Youngstown State University. As a student/pastor Jim served two churches on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Jim graduated from Wesley in 1992 with a Masters of Divinity degree. He served as associate pastor at Kent Island United Methodist Church from 1993 to 1997. Jim returned to Wesley in 1996 and graduated in 1999 with a Doctor of Ministry Degree. Jim transferred to The Baltimore Washington Conference in 1997. He served Hyattstown United Methodist Church from 1997-2000. He was appointed to Trinity United Methodist Church in July of 2000. He was appointed to Grace as senior pastor July 2014. Jim is the chairperson the Committee on Episcopacy and serves on the District Committee on Ordained Ministry. Jim enjoys spending time with his wife Betsy and trying to keep up with the children in all their activities. He enjoys running, cheering for the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Wizards.
