Gloryland Assembly of God Church

Gloryland Assembly of God is a Christ-centered, Bible-based and family oriented church. Our desire is to help you know and love God better (Dan 11:32); and to be in a position to experience His goodness in every aspect of your life. Psalm 34:18, 19. We believe that God has a plan and purpose for your life (John 10:10). He knows your past, your present, and your future. Since no one can change his/her history, we want to help you change your future and destiny by having a deeper relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (Ecc.9:11; Jer.29:1)

BELIEVE:
At Gloryland Assemblies of God, we believe in miracles! We also know that God has a special purpose for each one of us. Here are the other primary tenets of Gloryland Assembly of God church.

GOD:
We believe in one God, omnipotent, perfect, all-knowing and eternally existing in the three persons of the Trinity: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

JESUS CHRIST OUR SAVIOUR:
We believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, pre-existent and perfect. Born of a virgin in human form, Jesus sacrificed Himself on the cross for the sins of the world. He arose victoriously from the dead in three days and ascended to His Father's side where He intercedes for believers today.

THE HOLY SPIRIT:
We believe in the Spirit-filled life! The Holy Spirit is present in the world to bring the sinner to repentance and to provide the Christian with spiritual gifts for living, understanding of truth and guidance in doing what is right. If we ask God to baptize us in the Holy Spirit, He is faithful to do so with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

THE BIBLE:
The Bible is the holy Word of God, divinely inspired, inerrant and timeless. It is the supreme source of truth for our lives.

SALVATION:
All men will exist forever, either with God in Heaven or separated from God in Hell. Although man has tremendous potential for good, we are marred by disobedience and sin which separates us from God. However, God desires to bring all mankind into His presence to live as His children.

Jesus Christ, through His death on the cross, provided salvation as a free gift for all mankind. We receive salvation by grace through faith, not through good works. Man is given free will to receive or reject Christ’s salvation. This new life we are given is an abundant life in this world and an eternal life in the world to come.

THE CHURCH:
As the body of Christ in the earth, the purpose of the church is to glorify God through fellowship, discipleship, worship, prayer, outreach and evangelism. Christ has commissioned us to heal the sick, deliver the oppressed and preach the gospel to the world.
