Geneva Campus Church

About Us

A campus-oriented church for all ages

Geneva Chapel was founded in 1967 as an outreach ministry to students, and in 1991 was organized as a congregation of the Christian Reformed Church in North America. Situated on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, we see the university as our primary setting for ministry. We believe we are called to equip and develop our student members while they are with us and to send them out to serve God wherever they go. Geneva is a Spirit-led, intergenerational church which enfolds and equips people through opportunities for interaction, service and spiritual growth. During the school year, Adult Education and Sunday School begin at 9:00 each Sunday morning. Worship is at 10 a.m. year round. Each Sunday, we enjoy a time of fellowship and refreshments right after worship. About once a month during the school year, we have a Sunday noon potluck. Our 20’s & 30’s Group meets for a monthly lunch, and undergrads gather for lunches, picnics and games at various times. We also enjoy growth and fellowship through Bible studies, discipleship groups and prayer meetings, as well as households (small groups which meet at various times in leaders’ homes).

What to Expect

What are services like?
A mix of traditional and contemporary songs. Traditional liturgy. Sermon and communion each Sunday. Services are approximately an hour and 15 minutes.

What is the community like?
Geneva is on the campus of the University of Wisconsin. So our congregation is young, with many undergrads and grad students, as well as university staff such as professors. Ethnically varied. Friendly and welcoming.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Everyone is welcome, no matter where each is on his or her faith journey.
