About Us

A faith community grounded in the Love and Truth of the Spirit

We are a small Quaker meeting in the "unprogrammed" tradition. During our worship time together, we listen for the voice of God in our hearts. If anybody feels led to share a message with the group, that person may speak our of the silence - briefly and from the heart.

We strive to listen for God's guidance in all we do in life: in our relationships with one another; in our families; in our schools and workplaces; in our relationship with the natural world. We welcome visitors and seekers.

We come from a wide geographic area including Livingston, Allegany, Monroe, and Steuben Counties.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Services consist of what many call "silent worship." We listen for the Spirit in our hearts. Anybody moved to share a message with the group may do so or the hour may pass in gathered silence.

What is the community like?
We are a small, multi-generational group of people. We welcome all. We believe that every day is sacred so we do not dress or behave differently on our day of worship than we do on any other day.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Quakerism is a faith grounded in the experience of the Divine. While many Quakers consider themselves Christian, many others do not. What unites us is our experience of the Spirit in our everyday lives, regardless of the name each of us may use to describe that experience.
