Phil Horning

I am a follower of Christ largely because of the influence of my family, and church, as well as numerous Christian role models. I served as physical education teacher for two years, then as a Christian camp program director for 16 years, and then God called me as a pastor to my home church in 2009. I'm blessed to be married to Kelly, my wonderful wife, partner and friend and 4 terrific children, Bethany, Caleb, Abby and Anna Lynn. As lead pastor, my role involves pointing people to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord through preaching and teaching, pastoral care and counseling, helping members discern and develop gifts, and encouraging Christian outreach in our community and beyond. In the past through church, I have also served as an assistant youth leader, worship leader, young adult Sunday School teacher and on the board of elders.
