Tim Swanson

Tim joined Foothills Community Church (F.C.C.) as the Lead Pastor in July 2008. His passion is to thoroughly challenge people to live as Christ lived and "equip people for the work of (God's) ministry." His desire is to see each person believe on Christ for salvation and embrace the authority of the Scriptures. Prior to coming to F.C.C., Tim served on the pastoral staff at First Baptist Church of Windsor from 2000-2008 as well as in bi-vocational and lay ministry roles at First Baptist Church of Castro Valley from 1992-2000. He earned a Master of Divinity degree in Theology from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary and holds a B.S. in Business Administration with an option in Human Resource Management from California State University of Hayward (East Bay). Tim and his wife, Alisa, have been married since 1997 and have three children: Ashley, Trenton, and Tyler.
