Proclaiming Our Only Comfort in Life and In Death in Yuba City

First Reformed Church

Who We Are

We are a church committed to God's infallible and inerrant word. We are confessional, subscribing to the Heidelberg Catechism, the Belgic Confession of Faith, and the Canons of Dordt. Our worship centers on expository preaching, with congregational response - singing, prayers, confession of faith and offerings. Our focus in on the glory of God, not the entertainment of men. "Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God."
We confess that the marks of the true church are the faithful preaching of the Word, the proper administration of the sacraments and church discipline. By God's grace alone, we have endeavored to keep our candlestick burning.
We would invite all who are hungry and thirsty for God's word to join with us.
