About Us
WE are a community of Christ, privileged to serve our Lord since 1842 through offering biblically-based preaching, inspiring worship in a traditional style with organ and an excellent choir, dedicated leadership, and a welcoming, comfortable, and accessible building
We are natives of Pike County and we are retirees from many backgrounds and places who have chosen to live in Waverly. Together we offer to God and neighbors worlds of experience.
We actively support ministries of compassion in Pike County through the Pike County Outreach Council of Churches, the Pike County Welfare House, and other local groups. We are mission partners regionally, nationally and globally with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
