Bruce Marten

Our pastor is Bruce Marten. He is married to Jenny and they have two grown children. They are originally from Washington State where Bruce worked as an ICU nurse and Jenny as an optometric technician and musician before entering the ministry. He is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary and has been our minister since 1996. Bruce’s beliefs are best summed up in the section titled “Our Beliefs” and “Our Connections” on our church's website: firstpresoc.org Bruce: “I can truly say this has been the greatest experience for myself and my family since we arrived many years back. The love and spirit of God’s people here are so awesome! We are definitely called by God to be in Oregon City and we love the people here. We are looking forward to the years that lay ahead knowing the Lord will guide and bless the church in all we do for His glory.”
