An energetic and growing church!

In the heart of downtown Coeur d'Alene, First Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) is a growing and exciting church dedicated to changing lives. We are mission focused and participate in community charities like ''Family Promise.'' We host an ecumenical food kitchen every Thursday and offer a free Clothing Closet at the same time.

Our worship is a blend of contemporary and traditional, and we recently added a second Sunday morning service.

What are services like?
Services are energetic and alive led by our enthusiastic pastor. Our desire is to worship with joy and excitement. Worship should be fun. Our music is a mix of traditional and contemporary. Praise songs, strong hymns and a variety of styles of special music is always the norm. Attire runs the gamut from shorts and sandals to ties, coats and dresses. People wear what makes them feel comfortable.

What is the community like?
Our church community includes ALL ages and welcomes all ages. We are a friendly and caring church who believe that hospitality is the key ingredient to showing God's love to the community. We are mission oriented and desire to shower our neighborhood and world with the good news of Jesus Christ.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We welcome all who have a desire to learn what it means to be a Christian. There is no pressure to believe in a certain way, and all are allowed to grow at their own pace.
