The mission of First Congregational Church is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and in deed.
Founded in 1833, we were the first Congregational Church founded in Illinois. We carry on that heritage and tradition in our worship, mission, and fellowship. We celebrate worship in a traditional way with contemporary meaning. God's word and guidance plays a vital part in our mission and ministry.
