First Congregational United Church of Christ is an Open and Affirming member of the Northern Plains Conference of the United Church of Christ. We affirm that Jesus accepted all people as equals in the eyes of God, and we follow his teachings. We believe that God is Still Speaking through the inspired words of his people everywhere. We follow the Golden Rule in treating each person as we would like to be treated ourselves. Our building is handicap accessible.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services are a blend of traditional and contemporary worship, with creative and fun elements.

What is the community like?
We enjoy fellowship after each service, and we LOVE to eat. Our potlucks are the best! We have both men's and women's fellowship groups that meet and raise funds to perform mission work. Our Sunday School teaches that all children are loved by God.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We are a Christian denomination, but we do not require adherence to a doctrine, as we encourage each person to join us in exploration of his/her faith. Jesus never turned anyone away, and neither will we.
