Bruce Oyen
Senior Pastor

Pastor Bruce and Loann Oyen are from Minnesota. Loann became a Christian in grade school and Bruce in high school. They met at Bethany College Of Missions in Minnesota and graduated in 1974. They have been married since June, 1974. After graduating from Bethany, they worked with two Christian bookstores from 1974 - 1977 on Nassau, Bahamas and the second on St. Croix, U. S. Virgin Islands. The Oyens have three adult children and ten grandchildren. Loann had a home sewing business for over 30 years and she has worked in the public school system as a para-pro (teacher's aid) for the last several years. She uses her musical talents to serve the Lord and enjoys working with children in Sunday School. The Oyens emphasize personal relationships in their ministry. Pastor Bruce was ordained by Hope Baptist Church in Minneapolis, MN, in 1982; since then they have served in three previous Independent Baptist churches in Montana and Washington state. Pastor Bruce emphasizes Bible preaching, teaching and evangelism in church services. Besides a degree from Bethany College Of Missions, he has two degrees from Patriot Bible University of Del Norte, CO
