About Us

A Place to Belong

It's exciting to feel like you belong. That feeling of arrival - like sitting down to a homemade meal with your closest friends - brings a sense of inclusion like nothing else can. Everyone, no matter where they are in life, needs to know they belong, because something inside each of us longs to be pursued, to be valued.

The word "Church" means different things to different people. For some, it awakens warm feelings of childhood potlucks and singing. For others, it might trigger a more sour feeling, a subtle tensing of the shoulders. People's reactions to the Church are as varied as their individual histories.

But what is God's intention for the Church? When God initiated the Church, He had in mind a heartfelt connection of diverse people. He said that the greatest love we could show was to lay down our lives for our friends. There's no greater belonging than the one God intended in the Church.

The Church is a community of people committed to doing life together and knowing God. Through thick and thin, these are the friends who stay by your side. God wants each of us to find a place of belonging in His family. Come and find your place at the table. Welcome home. First Alliance is a place to belong.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Everything we do here at First Alliance Church is completely based on God's Word, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Bible and has meaning and purpose. You can be secure that although our worship is expressive, it will never give way to fanaticism. Our praise is often bold and strong, yet sensitive and reverent. Worship is always led in ways that foster unity and emphasizes that we are one body, team, or choir. Our expressions may involve emotions including laughter, applause or even tears. We desire to experience true worship that is genuine and freeing -- not sensational or rigged. We seek to communicate and interact with openness and transparency, yet always strive to maintain confidentiality. When you share your prayer needs, they are meant to be held with the utmost love and concern, demonstrating sincerity and compassion.

What is the community like?
First Alliance is an amazing place to be, but you don't have to just take our word for it. Check out this testimony from a woman who has become part of our FAC family! "Almost two years ago [my son] and I visited FAC on a random Sunday. We came at the advice of a friend. As we neared the end of worship, [my son] leaned over and said, 'Mom, I think we found our home.' Indeed. And if a 12-year-old knew that - imagine what you could find! We've found a HOME - you know the word - where you are accepted and wanted AS YOU ARE and for WHO you are. Priceless. I welcome you to join us. Fill that soul."

What if I'm not a Christian?
No matter where you are on your journey with Jesus, you are always welcome at FAC. We'd love to meet you and hear your story.
