Father's House is a vibrant young church seeking to see God's Kingdom come to Earth as it is in heaven. We are involved in all kinds of community service and humanitarian projects. We live as a community on mission, worshiping, loving and serving.

We meet in the heart of the city because we are a church for the city. Join us at Portland State University's Smith Memorial Building on SW Montgomery and Broadway.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services start with coffee and snack before we worship with a contemporary rock driven worship style. We value the move of God's Spirit above all programs and agendas, so our worship is passionate and often makes up two thirds of the service time as we value being in His transformational presence. Pastor Steve is knows for messages that spark greater hunger to be the person God calls us to be and fulfill His purposes for our life and our city.

What is the community like?
We are younger yet multi-generational church who value people, because people matter to God. We are not perfect but we are growing in our identity as God's children. We are compassionate with people and carry a strong passion for God. The congregation is an eclectic mix of recently married young couples, people coming of the streets and recovering (many still in process), young families, adult singles and just about everything in between.

The first time I came here was for a prophetic conference, while still in college and working on a project ...on the homeless. I was directed by the Holy spirit to give the sketch I had while praying during the conference to the Pastor/Apostle Steve to break it down for me. He blew my mind. I was ministered to by several other humble and annoited men and women of God with genuine prophetic insights. It is a place to grow!
