• Mark Bowditch

    Pastor Mark Bowditch was born and raised in Farmington Hills, Michigan where he attended Prince of Peace Lutheran. He was ordained in the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod in June of 1990 and sent as an evangelistic missionary to Thailand on his first call where he served from 1990-1997. Reaching out to university students in Bangkok was his main focus. From 1997-2005, he served as a full-time Bible teacher and youth minister at Saint Mark Lutheran Church and School in Hawaii. In 1998, he became a USAF Reserve Chaplain attached to Hickam AFB in Honolulu. In July, 2005, he was called as a new church planter and became Pastor of Family of Christ Lutheran Church in Comstock Park, MI. After moving to Michigan, he has continued serving as a military Chaplain and was reassigned first to Scott AFB near St. Louis, Missouri and is now attached to the USAF Academy in Colorado Springs where he serves to meet the spiritual needs of new basic cadets each summer.
