Jay Griggs

Pastor Jay and his wife Faith were married in 2000 and have six children, Jody, Josiah, Charles, Michael Caleb and Marian. Jay got saved at the age of 17 years old at Central Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, LA. After being called to preach in 1997 he later attended Providence Baptist College in Elgin, IL. After graduating in 2007, he served as the director of Who Will Go To America Ministries, which consisted as a ministry of revival and assistance for local churches in America. Being burdened and called to start a church in November of 2011, Pastor Jay contacted Pastor Rusty Silvertooth of Fundamental Baptist Church in Livingston, LA. With the help of Pastor Silvertooth and Fundamental Baptist Church, Faith and Family Baptist Church was started Easter Sunday April 8th, 2012. FFBC was started with 4 acres of land, a building with all the amenities and a parsonage. We are excited to see what God has in store for Faith and Family Baptist church in Hammond, LA!
