What people say about Episcopal Church of the Ascension

• If you were to walk in our doors, you would find a typical Episcopal church with a typical service right out of the Book of Common Prayer--unless it is a Creative Liturgy Sunday (which we have occasionally at the late service). If you aren't from a liturgical background, you would find us following the order of service from the Book of Common Prayer and singing hymns out of our hymnal (we use three). So it would be a lot of book-juggling, but that is the nature of our tradition. Don't hesitate to ask for help if you are lost. Once you get the hang of it, you'll never look back. The fellowship here is warm, and we love to eat. We are strong on outreach, strong on Christian Education.
