OUR HISTORY
55 years ago a small group of Lutheran Christians took the initiative to literally plant a flag on a piece of property in a growing community in Southwest Florida. Their goal was to establish a church to serve the spiritual needs of what they anticipated to be an expanding population. This "great cloud of witnesses" understood the Gospel mandate to reach God's people, wherever they are, with the saving message of Jesus Christ. Today we recognize that congregation as Emmanuel Lutheran Church at 777 Mooring Line Drive, Naples, Florida.
Emmanuel Lutheran Church has long been supported by its members and friends, who have enabled the congregation to provide excellent worship and music ministry, strong outreach to those in need of care and support, and a breadth of opportunities for learning and growing together in love as God's children of all ages.
