What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services are a nice blend of contemporary music (drums, guitars, keyboards) lead by a worship team. We also feature a choir that will lead us in a variety of worship songs. We believe that God has given us clear instructions from His Word on a pattern of worship: The Lord Calls us into His Presence and we respond in Worship The Lord Forgives His People and we respond in Repentance The Lord Gives us His Word (The preaching of His Word) The Lord Feeds His People (The regular observance of the Sacrament of Lord's Supper, or the Eucharist) The Lord Blesses His People

What is the community like?
God has given DPC a great sense of community. It will sound very trite to say as much, but many people who come as a guest to our church remark that 'this is the friendliest bunch of people I've ever been around in a church." We love each other and our relationships with one another are always growing deeper. We seek out new faces to introduce ourselves toward and we want everyone to know that we love them as Christ loves them.

What if I'm not a Christian?
If you aren't a Christian yet, that is fine. If you have questions about our faith, that is fine. If you are cynical about 'religion', come on anyway. Bring your honest questions and we promise to give you honest answers based on the truth from God's Word. The fact that you are searching online for a church is evidence that God is at work in your life somehow already. Come, bring your questions and let's open an ongoing dialogue as you search for the truth. Just know that we have found truth and joy through faith in Jesus Christ, God's Son, and we want to patiently, lovingly, and respectfully introduce you to our amazing Savior.
