After, attending Calvary Chapel Bible College in 1995, and attending shepherd school in Oil City Pennsylvania with Calvary Chapel Finger Lakes. It was there that the Lord stirred his heart to serve on a full time basis. Giving a two week notice at work he left his job as an auto technician in Miami Metro Dade GSA Fleet management. He then took a trip to Israel and received further instruction in the study of the Bible. He became an assistant pastor in Calvary Chapel Miami serving in the missions ministry, Bible Counseling, Men's Discipleship, New Believers and Building management . A number of years later on a missions trip to Peru when leading a group his left leg was not allowing him to walk. At his return to Miami, he went to a Neurologist and there was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. A couple of years later, not able to handle the heat in Miami, he was stirred by the Lord to move to Danville, Kentucky and plant a church, that is what is now Cross Point Calvary Chapel. Alfred’s enthusiastic love for the Lord, the lost and the Word of God is contagious. He teaches verse-by-verse through the Word of God, resulting in lives that are impacted, built up, and equipped to do the work of ministry. His humorous, passionate, and contemporary style connects with a wide audience without compromising the truth of the scriptures. Alfred is married to Alicia; together, they have a daughter Samantha and a son Michael. In his spare time, Alfred enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Alfred’s greatest desire is to know God and be conformed into His image.
