Wes Sesler

Wes Sesler

Senior Pastor, Wes Sesler was born and raised in Dickson, TN, where his father was in full time ministry as a Pastor. He graduated from MTSU, and while in preparation for Law School, was called into full-time ministry. Under the leadership of Pastor Dave Deerman at Dickson First Assembly, he began serving in ministry as the Assistant to the Pastor. After 5-1/2 years there, he had served as Interim Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, and Interim Senior Pastor before leaving to plant Covenant Church. Pastor Wes met his wife Jen in February 2010 and married in September 2011. Pastor Wes is an Ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God and has a desire to help people find their purpose in life. Preaching from personal experience, his focus is to see people delivered from life controlling issues and find new life in Christ.

    Our church is a body of believers with the common desire to continuously seek the Lord in everything we do. Yet, while seeking the Lord we are not blind to those around us. The relationships within the church are genuine and encouraging. There is a place for any one no matter the age and all are welcome.

    This is a church where people care about each other. We have a vision not only to lead others to a relationship with God through Jesus Christ but also to reach out to the Burns community and surrounding areas as needs are made known. We recognize that all we have is from God and our responsibility is to be good stewards with our time, talent, and treasure. Our worship will minister to young and old. Our congregation ranges in ages from a few weeks to 95. Everyone is welcome and we hope that anyone who visits would be immediately filled with love and God's presence.
