Who We Are

Community Christian Church is a friendly, welcoming mainline congregation with a strong emphasis on fellowship and mission. We meet each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. for worship, enjoy fellowship at 10:45 and meet for Church school at 11. As is true for many Disciples of Christ churches, we open our Lord's Supper (held weekly) to all who come in need of Jesus Christ. We emphasize the leadership of our laity. And we depend on God's Holy Spirit to guide us to be our very best.

Our Services

What are services like?
Our worship services offer a blend of traditional and praise music, and some liturgy. We follow the liturgical year, and preaching is Bible-oriented and often follows the common revised lectionary. We love our choir and believe our organist/pianist a strong inspiration to us.

What is the community like?
We tend to be a friendly, welcoming congregation, representing a diversity of political and religious traditions. Leadership is shared by the laity and clergy.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are always welcome here!
