CJ Ortega
Lead Pastor

Rev. CJ Ortega currently serves as the Lead Pastor for City Reach Church in Reading. Before he was called to the ministry, CJ served as a United States Marine for over twelve years. Drawing on his experiences as Marine, husband, father and coach; Pastor CJ communicates with an authentic, often times raw, open style that allows him to be very transparent and real with people. Pastor CJ has been married to Joy since Aug 2001. Part of their passion when they got married was integrating God into their everyday life. They have made compassion ministry the vital ingredient of their true zeal of reaching people and experiencing life change. Today, they determine to make Jesus the focus of all that they do and in doing so, love every minute of it! CJ and Joy reside in downtown Reading and have four amazing children.
