City Pres is a new church to Oklahoma City. We are hear to love God, love people and love Oklahoma City.

We meet on Sunday nights at 5pm in downtown Oklahoma City for our worship services and we meet in CityGroups in homes throughout the week. We love to throw great parties, serve our city, tell stories of rescue hope and purpose, and walk together with Jesus.

All are welcome regardless of personal or religious background. City Pres is here for the convinced and the unconvinced, the lost, the found, the burned, bored, cynical and the spiritual. We invite you, no matter where you are in the process, to City Pres.

What to Expect

What are services like?
We meet at 5pm. You can come just as you are. Some dress up but some also come in tshirt and shorts. The pastors preach through books of the Bible with messages that connect to the heart. We sing redone and refashioned hymns - these are old amazing hymns set to new music. We take the Lord's Supper each week in a rich, important time with Christ and his church. We want the historic church to tap into the ancient ways but also feel warm and winsome, friendly and inviting.

What is the community like?
There is a diversity in ages at City Pres, though many young families feel at home here. We love to throw good parties that people want to come to. For example, at our Christmas party, we'll have a four-string quartet, horse drawn carriage rides and champagne. We want to be honest with each other and share our poverty and Christ's riches. We don't want to be surprised by sin, but we do want to hope for more in Christ. The gospel is real and alive to us. The Holy Spirit is present. God is at work.

What if I'm not a Christian?
All are welcome. We all doubt and struggle. We sing songs that take unbelief seriously and admit that all of us wonder about truth.
