What to Expect

What are services like?
During the school years, we have two major services on Sunday: 8:00am & 10:15am, each service include Holy Eucharist. Our first service is a quiet, more contemplative gathering and we use Rite I, a service with older language. At 10:15am the organ and choir lead the Rite II service in song. Children are welcome to attend either service as the Sunday School hour happens in between the services. A nursery is available beginning at 9:00am through the 10:15am service.

What is the community like?
In the contemporary world, we often spend time isolated from people who are different from us. But a church family is one place where we come together in diversity - young and old and from different backgrounds and with different lifestyles and outlooks. Mediator is large enough to offer diversity and small enough to make you feel cared for - as if you truly are in a loving, extended family.

What if I'm not a Christian?
No matter what your faith tradition is, you may find our church a comfortable place. Our worship service hearkens back to the beginnings of the Christian church with its beautiful liturgy of praise, scripture readings and prayers. From the music to the "passing of the peace" the purpose of the service is to uplift your spirit and connect you to God and others.
