About Us

To seek & serve Christ in all persons, loving our neighbors as ourselves

Epiphany is a diverse community living in the Spirit of Christ by: taking concrete actions to create spiritual growth; fostering real stewardship and compassionate outreach; and increasing active participation and discipleship for all. All individuals, families, children, and youth are deeply valued, and encouraged to actively participate in a variety of ministries. Our desire is that all who enter through our red doors will grow in an increasing understanding of God's abundant love for all people.

What to Expect

What are services like?
All our services are open to the public. They are based on traditional prayers, and Bible readings which are "unpacked" in the sermon. This format is centuries old; the words of the Book of Common Prayer were updated about 35 years ago to reflect more current English language usage, and to integrate translations and understandings of Bible scholars. There are interactive prayers, with both set responses and opportunity for individual additions. Music is typically at the 10:30 Sunday service: hymns with organ, and choir from September through May.

What is the community like?
Epiphany's parish (local church) community includes members ages 0 to well over 90. We have an active faith community, committed to each other and to helping our neighbors. Inside our walls we offer: faith formation classes for children and adults; Bible study and music; yoga, Tai Chi, and 12-Step groups. Our members reach out through: the Flagstaff Family Food Kitchen; Hospice; Random Acts of Kindness (our major outreach, which annual divides about $30,000 among four area non-profits); Loaves & Fishes (our summer food drive); and many other opportunities.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Come and see! You can find exciting activities alongside opportunities for contemplation. Our members are open and friendly, and you will find that we welcome your questions!
