What to Expect

What are services like?
Each week our service includes the singing of a blend of hymns, gospel, and contemporary worship songs. We have a time of prayer, a sermon, a confession of sin, and we celebrate communion every week.

What is the community like?
Christ the King is a diverse, multi-ethnic church. Whoever you are, you are assured a warm welcome. We are a group of real people seeking to do real life with one another. We believe that we don't have to pretend or hide from one another or with God, because we have a Big Savior in Jesus Christ. We seek to be church not just on Sunday's but rather 7 days a week. So on Sunday's we gather together, but our hope is to be the church for one another and our community 7 days a week.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are welcomed! We encourage non-Christians to join us and walk with us through life. Every single member at Christ the King Dorchester at one time was a non-Christian. So we've been there and we welcome all people who are seeking to join us in our journey.
