Christ Community Church is a gospel centered, mission driven community of Christians who seek to show the beauty of Jesus to the heart of Denton. Part of the Acts 29 church planting network, it began in 2009 and has grown steadily since.

It is our desire that members of our community be known for their knowledge of God's word, their worship of Jesus Christ, their love as part of God's family, and their passion for God's mission.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Services are very casual and simple. Sermons are based upon a passage of Scripture, we take communion each week, and we spend time in prayer and in worship through music. At the end we give brief announcements. Everyone is welcome, most people wear very casual clothing.

What is the community like?
The church community is young, most are under 40. There are a significant number of UNT &TWU (local universities) students, as well as post college young adults. There are a growing number of young families as well. The church culture reflects the laid-back, artistic, and somewhat hippie like culture of Denton, although there are people from all walks of life and all backgrounds in attendance.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Services are not seeker oriented necessarily, but are very welcoming to those who are not Christians. The community is very friendly and open to questions by nonbelievers.
