Matthew Perkins

Born and raised in Goshen, Connecticut, Matt graduated from The University of Connecticut with Bachelor of Arts in English in 1989. Matt’s first call to ministry came at Silver Lake Conference Center, serving several summers and 2 years full time as Chef and Assistant Director. Matt attended Lancaster Theological Seminary in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and received his Master of Divinity degree in 1994. Formerly holding positions with A Christian Ministry in the National Parks and a pastorate in Ravena, New York, Matt has most recently served as Pastor of Decorah United Church of Christ in Decorah, Iowa, and as Philosophy and Ethics instructor and Northeast Iowa Community College.
