Gilbert Marez

A dynamic minister and a person committed to social justice, Dr. Gilbert Marez is the co-founder and Senior Pastor of Camino de Paz Christian Church in Fort Worth, Texas. A native of San Antonio, Texas, Gilbert received a Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling and Master of Divinity degree from Texas Christian University. He was ordained by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Arizona at Park Avenue Christian Church in Tucson, Arizona. He is actively engaged in the areas of politics, civil rights, gender equality and health care advocacy. Dr. Marez is married to Cecilia and is the father of two children: Aaron and Erica.
