Calvary is a place with real people seeking a real God. Weekend services at Calvary are wonderful opportunities to connect with God, to share life with God’s family and to find our place in fulfilling God’s purpose on earth. Calvary’s worship celebrations feature inspirational songs of worship from the heart led by gifted musicians. And the messages are filled with practical, life-changing, Bible based teaching.

What to Expect

What are services like?
We have two Sunday worship services, one at 8:30am and another at 10:30 am. The 8:30 service includes more acoustic worship led by Travis Taylor. The 10:30 service, also led by Travis, is full band. Messages and programs during both services are otherwise identical.

What is the community like?
We are a cross generational church with the majority of our attendees coming from Pacific Palisades, West LA and Malibu. We range from college students from UCLA, Pepperdine and USC all the way to empty-nesters. Calvary has a thriving Children's and Student Ministry programs available.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We welcome you to attend and connect with us. We would love to walk you through the process of coming to know and fully understand who Christ is. We also offer ALPHA classes which help prepare and lead seekers to Christ.

Leadership

Steve Faubion

For over a decade I've served as Senior Pastor of Calvary Church. I've had the privilege of leading a team of incredibly gifted people who are giving their lives away to serve God through the ministries of our church. I'm happily married to Susie and God has blessed us with two amazing daughters who love God and continue to be an abiding source of joy and blessing. I'm a graduate of Wheaton College (B.A.), Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.) and Fuller Theological Seminary (D.Min.). I have been blessed to spend my whole life studying, applying and sharing the Word of God. If you are interested in hearing my weekly sermons, they are available through iTunes.
