Blue Springs Assembly of God

About Us

Connecting people with God, Others, Service, and Passion.

Come join us at BSA! Our Cafe is open on Sunday Mornings from 8:00 am to 9:00 am with coffee and treats.

Our Christian Education classes start at 9:00 am which provides an opportunity for everyone from birth to adult to study the Bible in smaller groups.

Our morning worship begins at 10:00 am and usually goes till 11:30 am. Our service offers quality music from our worship team along with a relevant message from God's Word. There are also great services for kids in our Kid's Church.

On Sunday nights we have an evening service that starts at 6:00 pm on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. Our Life Groups (small groups that meet in homes) are the 2nd and 4th Sunday nights and also start at 6:00 pm.

Every Wednesday at 7:00 pm we offer our EQUIP service. There is something for everybody on Wednesday nights. Adults meet in the Sanctuary for Bible Study with Pastor John. Students seventh grade through college-age meet in the Youth Center for ACTS Youth Ministries. There are Boys and Girls clubs that meet for elementary-aged children and a fully-staffed nursery ministry.

What to Expect

What are services like?
We work hard to make sure every weekend service is creative and relevant to your life. When you arrive, a member of our Host Team will greet you at the door. If you need help finding our nursery or kid's service they will help you find your way. Our music team will begin the service with contemporary music that is inspiring to the soul. Our Pastor will talk about an issue that is relevant today and what the Bible says about dealing with that issue. We will not make you wear a visitor badge or stand up so that everyone can see you. We would like you to fill out our Friendship Register during offering so that we can assist you in your visit at Blue Springs Assembly. After service please join us at The Fireside Room. The Fireside Room is a place for those new to BSA to connect with others, ask questions and enjoy free refreshments.

What is the community like?
Our community is very friendly and inclusive. We consider anyone who chooses to walk through our door a friend. You'll see people laughing with each other, praying with each other, mourning with each other and being friends to one another. Some people come dressed in jeans and t-shirts while others come dressed business casual. If you prefer to wear ties or a dress, that's fine too. We want you to feel comfortable while we experience worship together in the House of the Lord.

What if I'm not a Christian?
This is the place for you! You won't be forced to do anything. You will be treated with respect and love because we value everyone here at BSA. You will experience the wonderful presence of God in our services as He speaks to us and changes us. Come experience true life at BSA!

Beware. This is a doomsday cult. I grew up in this church with my 4 siblings. My parents have been church leaders for about 30 years (positions they bought) My parents abused us as children. Our mom caused us to bleed often. My parents used the church's teachings to justify the abuse. Our mom told us she'd "rather see us die than grow up on this planet." I spent most my childhood fearing my mom was going to kill us. My mom would say, "you will never grow up. You will never have a family." My parents removed us from school and forced us to watch apocalyptic gore-porn most days. My parents are racist. Race is a big part of their doomsday cult. They told us slavery was God's will and the slaves were better off being owned. These days, my mom is extremely angry that I have a happy family who will never be members of her cult. I cut off communication with my mom because she still says I'd be better off dead, since we won't join her hate cult. Sadly, my dad is totally submissive to my mom and supports everything she does. My mom feels empowered because I am dealing with a horrific physical illness. She says God is punishing me. It seems, we will never communicate again. I feel my mom's emotional abuse was causing my illness to progress. I feel at peace not hearing my mom's death wishes for me. I feel sad for Jesus that these people defame his name.
