Dr. Willie Smith
Pastor

Dr. Smith is the founding pastor of the Bible Way Baptist Church. He organized Bible Way in May 1975. He accepted the Lord as his Savior on July 17, 1967 and on July 31, 1967 at the age of 15 he accepted his call to preach. He was licensed to the ministry of God on April 12, 1970 at the St. John Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. James Gaston. He was ordained on January 30, 1971 under the leadership of Rev. B. R. Daniel in Avalon, Texas. He is the President of Oak Cliff Garden's Crime Watch and active member of Empowering Oak Cliff. He is married to Mrs. Anna L. Smith. They have eight children and 18 grandchildren. Dr. Smith’s main objective is to win the lost to Christ, instruct believers in obedience and direct them in Christian Service.
