About Us

Welcoming All. Making Disciples. Serving Neighbors

The new Bethlehem is in transition and it’s exploring where God’s Spirit is nudging us forward. We want to be engaging with the Gospel’s word of inclusive embrace, making a difference in the neighborhoods, asking how can we be and bring Light to the world, and how we can better love the world and each other along the way. Only visitors could say if we are friendly and welcoming, but it is our desire to welcome people in the name of the Triune God, to worship and live in Spirit-filled ways that are deepening and expansive for both ourselves and others. We can’t pretend we’ve got this down to a science—far from it. With Jesus our teacher and healer, we are students, not graduates! Bethlehem welcomes all who want to welcome all, serves the neighbor, and offers a process of discipleship for youth and adults. There’s room for you at Bethlehem.

Our Services

Saturday
05:00pm
This service is a little more causal, contemplative and smaller than our Sunday morning services. Music is led by a pianist.
Sunday
08:30am
At this service we typically follow one of the settings found in Evangelical Lutheran Worship. Music is led by the organ and choir.
11:00am
This service blends a variety of musical styles (contemporary, traditional, Taize’ music). Our praise band leads the singing. The order of service is projected onto the screen for hands-free worship.
05:30pm
This service meets on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. It is a fully inclusive and enriching experience, combining ancient traditions with modern styles; the circular rhythm of Taize chants and moments of quiet reflection. (45 minutes)
