Rick DeLaTorre

Pastor Rick DeLaTorre is a native of California, born in 1961 and raised near the state capital in the city of Stockton. He has been married to his wife Resa for 30 years and has two boys Stephen [18] and Jared [16]. Having lived in Los Angeles longer than his hometown, he now considers himself a Southern California native. Before being called to pastor, Pastor Rick's original field of study was Computer graphics and design [CSUN / UCLA]. He has a B.A. in Biblical Studies and Cross Cultural Ministry from Life Pacific College, and a Masters of Arts in Biblical Studies and Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. "My passion is seeing the light in people's eyes when they finally 'get it.' When word of God finally makes sense to them - most especially when they have that transforming encounter with God, the thing that lets them know he is really there, and that he loves them." Rick was ordained as Senior Pastor of New Heart Christian Fellowship by the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel in 1994.
