We Are a Holiness People
God, who is holy, calls us to a life of holiness. We believe that the Holy Spirit seeks to do in us a second work of grace, called by various terms including "entire sanctification" and "baptism with the Holy Spirit"-cleansing us from all sin, renewing us in the image of God, empowering us to love God with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength, and our neighbors as ourselves, and producing in us the character of Christ. What to Expect

What are services like?
Come as You are. Upon arrival you will be greeted with some smiling people who will make sure you are welcomed. We are committed to having a service in which you experience the hope and love of God. All are invited and come as you are. You will walk into a church that you are loved and cared for. You are welcomed to come in and grab a hot coffee, sit and enjoy a snack that is prepared by our wonderful ladies of the church. We are a family friendly church and strive to make your first visit an enjoyable one.

    Run for the hills as this church does not recognize John 3:16. Lead by a misguided Pastor who seems to believe he sits at the right hand of the Father.

    Wow has this church changed under Pastor John and his message of hate. It’s sad to see a Pastor that believes he is God himself based on his own interpretation of the Bible. All he cares about is donations to his church expansion which he wants all the credit for.

    This church’s Pastor does not recognize John 3:16 which is sad. According to Pastor John belief in Jesus is not enough and you can lose your salvation. He makes sure to bring this up after one of your loved ones passes away at their service. This is NOT your parents and grandparents Nazarene church any longer. So sad to see.

He is a terrible pastor and adds things to the Bible that simply are not true like his personal belief that you can lose your salvation if John is thrown out of your house when you make an unannounced visit and use “choice” words at him. John has no filter and seems to enjoy causing pain to grieving families. The Backus liquor store is just across 371 John. You would be better serving the good citizens of Backus in a business you are very familiar with. Pastoring is simply not your call!!!

    We are a church of people who love one another, love our pastor and appreciate his love for us and the community our church serves. He is a gifted preacher whose sermons touch the hearts of all of us.

    John has to be the worst and most disrespectful pastor I’ve witnessed. Honestly the worst sermon I’ve ever been to. Uninspired, irrelevant, sloppy, and full of gossip. Since John took over, this place has gone downhill.
