  • Wow has this church changed under Pastor John and his message of hate. It’s sad to see a Pastor that believes he is God himself based on his own interpretation of the Bible. All he cares about is donations to his church expansion which he wants all the credit for.

  • This church’s Pastor does not recognize John 3:16 which is sad. According to Pastor John belief in Jesus is not enough and you can lose your salvation. He makes sure to bring this up after one of your loved ones passes away at their service. This is NOT your parents and grandparents Nazarene church any longer. So sad to see.

He is a terrible pastor and adds things to the Bible that simply are not true like his personal belief that you can lose your salvation if John is thrown out of your house when you make an unannounced visit and use “choice” words at him. John has no filter and seems to enjoy causing pain to grieving families. The Backus liquor store is just across 371 John. You would be better serving the good citizens of Backus in a business you are very familiar with. Pastoring is simply not your call!!!

  • John has to be the worst and most disrespectful pastor I’ve witnessed. Honestly the worst sermon I’ve ever been to. Uninspired, irrelevant, sloppy, and full of gossip. Since John took over, this place has gone downhill.
