  • I grew up in this church building (even when they had a daycare and our footprints in newly poured pavement). The people made it "The Church With The Heart" and even though we've moved on (since the new owners shut it down) I will never forget all the hearts that have touched my life at Asbury.

  • My father was the pastor at Asbury United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City during 1968 and 1969 (I believe). We were moved to Lawton in 1970. His name was Carl Lawson. I have many fond memories of those times. Members I recall are Arvil & Betty Holt (and their son and daughter, Alan and Gaye), the Huddleston family, the Johnson family, and others.
