What to Expect

What are services like?
PEOPLE: ACC is a very friendly group of people of all ages, with a growing population of young families. The service is casual, so feel free to dress comfortably. MUSIC: The singing is a mix of older and newer songs with an acoustic, contemporary style . The music is also blended with various Scripture readings and times of prayer. Our aim is for the whole of the congregation to participate in worshiping Jesus, rather than observing a performance. COMMUNION: Every worship service is a time to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. However, on the first Sunday of each month, ACC partakes in communion together. The elements (a matzah style cracker and grape juice) are avaialable to all who have put personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, regardless of denomination. TITHES / OFFERING: Also, each Sunday we give tithes and offerings as an act of worship. Visitors should not feel obligated to give financially. SERMONS / MESSAGES: Messages at ACC are generally expository, meaning they seek to declare the point of a particular Biblical passage and then provide practical application for daily living. Sermons usually last around 40 minutes. Typical sermon series cover a selected book of the Bible. All preaching at ACC ultimately points to the Gospel and the provision for sinners through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

What is the community like?
ACC is currently in a redevelopment status. In the last year, the church has expereienced God's great blessing of new people (young and old, single and married). There is an excitement among the people in seeing what God is doing. This excitement grows as ACCers connect beyond the Sunday morning celebration.

What if I'm not a Christian?
At ACC, each one of us, at one point, was not a Christian. We all share in the reality of our sinful nature, a life with mistakes, and a need for grace. If you are not a Christian, you are absolutely welcomed at ACC. Christian or not, you are one of us. Dress comfortably, be yourself, and we'll love you for it.
