We are a Christ-centered, friendly church in Denton county committed to helping families and individuals connect to Christ and grow in their faith. We have different services and styles to suit your preference and our children's and student ministries are vibrant and strong. A brand new youth/kids building is set to open in November 2013!

What to Expect

What are services like?
The early and late services (8:15 and 11 AM) feature traditional hymns and limited liturgical elements. Our 9:30 service is fully modern with a great band, the same sermon given in-person by our pastor and a more casual feel. As for attire, feel free to wear whatever you are comfortable in - shorts, jeans or a jacket and tie.

What is the community like?
The membership of Argyle UMC is very diverse in life-stage and church experience. Though we are officially United Methodist, more than 50% of our church family comes from other Christian denominations like Baptist, Presbyterian and Catholic. The cornerstone of the church is Jesus Christ, and the unique blend of backgrounds makes it special.

What if I'm not a Christian?
This is a great church to come and experience Christian community. You are free to express your doubts and reservations without judgment or any poor treatment. We'd be honored to partner with you as you explore what a life of faith in Christ could mean.
