Arcata First Baptist Church is an evangelical, charismatic church that values sound doctrine while welcoming the presence of the Holy Spirit. AFBC has a rich heritage of over 100 years of ministry to Humboldt County and mission outreach to the world. In the shadow of the beautiful Redwood Community Forest, and surrounded by Humboldt State University, we are located in a beautiful and strategic area of Arcata, CA.
Our mission is to reflect God’s glory so all people will know Jesus, lead transformed lives and answer His call to disciple nations.
Our anthem is “Loving the King and Living the Kingdom”.
