Fr. Canon Harry Way
Interim Rector

The Rev Canon Harry L. Way is with us as Interim Rector until such time as we call a new Rector. Fr. Harry is married (Pat) and has both a daughter (Gwen) and a son (Christopher) both of whom are adult and away from home. Gwen is working in Seattle and Christopher is living and working here in the Valley of the Sun. Fr. Harry was born in Long Beach, California and left the state after Jr. High School. Liberal, Kansas was his home for the next four years. His undergraduate work was done in Enid, Oklahoma and his seminary work was accomplished in Austin, Texas. He has served in the dioceses of Oklahoma, Montana, Minnesota, Colorado, Wyoming and Arizona. He was trained in Parish Consultation and Interim work through the Alban Institute and served as Regional Religious Education Coordinator under the Education Chair of the National Church Staff. Fr. Harry was made Honorary Canon by Bishop Smith in October of 2016.
