What are services like?
As you arrive at the church... You'll find convenient parking in multiple areas throughout the property with spaces close enough that is convenient for the elderly and handicapped visitors. The main sanctuary is the building closest to Paramount Blvd. and is easily recognizable by the steeple in the front. A warm welcome... Once you enter the door you should find a friendly face and warm hand shake welcoming you to our regular church family gathering. We have members and regular attenders ready to help you find a seat and answer any questions you might have about our church. You'll enter the sanctuary and sit anywhere that is comfortable for you without the worry of being sat in the front row! Heartfelt, authentic worship... The worship time is an opportunity for a genuine, open expression of our passion for Jesus Christ through song, prayer, and a relevant message. You will see that at Abundant Hope you can experience authentic worship... worship that is all about God, and not about us. Worshipers are welcome to sit, stand, clap, not clap, lift hands, not lift hands... all in the spirit of order as Paul the Apostle taught in 1 Corinthians 14. Whether you are rejoicing or reflecting, our worship time is encouraging, uplifting, sometimes challenging... but always with the purpose of expressing our love for Jesus Christ. Relevant teaching... You will experience relevant instruction based on the ultimate truth... God's own word as recorded in The Bible. You will hear a message that not only speaks to the needs and situations we all face each day, but one that is faithful to the scriptures. At Abundant Hope you'll find that we've been blessed with one of the most dynamic and genuine teachers anywhere in Southern California. A friendly atmosphere... Come and see for yourself!

What is the community like?
We are a multi-cultural fellowship of believers. Everyone at Abundant Hope still remembers what it's like being a guest at a new church. We do our best to welcome you as you arrive and do what we can to make you feel at home. During the service, you will find that the offering is extremely low-key... in fact; if you blink you may miss it. It is intended for our members and regular attenders so guests should not feel compelled to give in any way. Please feel free to fill out a visitor's card out and drop it in the offering knowing that no one is going to show up on your doorstep unexpectedly! We respect your time and your privacy. We Believe the Scriptures are inspired by God and declare His design and plan for mankind. I Thessalonians 2:13; II Peter 1:20-21; II Timothy 3:16-17 We believe there is only one true God, revealed in three persons...Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, (commonly known as the Trinity). John Chapter 14 to 16; John 20:28; II Peter 1:1; Titus 2:13; John 17: 1-26 We Believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. As God's son Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. Titus 2:13; John 1; Colossians 1; Hebrews 1:8; Colossians 1: 16-19; Psalms 102 We Believe man willingly fell to sin, ushering in evil and death, both physical and spiritual into the world. Romans 3:10, 11, 23 We believe every person can have restored fellowship with God through "Salvation" (by accepting Christ's offer of forgiveness for sin). Romans 10:9, 10; Ephesians. 2:8, 9; I John 1:9 We believe there are two ordinances given to us: 1.) Water Baptism by immersion. Romans 6:1-14; Matthew. 28:19; Mark 16:15; Acts 2:37, 8:12 2.) Holy Communion (the Lords Supper). Luke 22:7-18; I Corinthians 11:23-34 We Believe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a personal experience following salvation. John 20:20-22; Acts 1:8-9, 2:1-21, 19:1-7 We Believe sanctification initially occurs at salvation and is a declaration that a believer is in right standing with God. This is also a life-long growing process to become Christ-like. John 17:17; Hebrews 2:11; I Thessalonians 4:3; II Corinthians 7:1; Colossians. 3:5; II Timothy 2:21 We Believe the Church of Jesus Christ has a mission to seek and to save all who are lost in sin. Matthew 28:17-20 We believe a divinely called and scripturally ordained leadership ministry serves the church. Acts 13:1-13, 14:23, 15:2-23, 20:17,28; I Peter 5:1-3; Ephesians 4:11; I Timothy 3:2, 5:17; Titus 1:5,7,9; I Thessalonians 5:12,13; Hebrews 13:7,17,24; James 5:14 We believe in divine healing of the sick. The Elders are instructed to Pray for the sick. Psalm 103:1–5; I Corinthians 12:7–11; Mark 2:1–12; Matthew 8:16–17 We believe in the second coming of Christ. Jesus Christ will return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Matthew 24:17, 40, 25:1-13; I Corinthians 15:51, 52; I Thessalonians 4:16; II Thessalonians 2:1-4; II Peter 3:13; Revelation 3:10, Ch. 22 We believe in the millennial reign of Christ. Jesus will reign on Earth for a thousand years. Zachariah 14:5, Revelation 20:1-10 We believe in the final Judgment of man. All will be judged and rewarded for their deeds.
