Who We Are

Helping to build Real Relationships with Jesus!

We are a recently started Full Gospel - Holy Spirit Filled Church that promotes the importance of cultivating a real relationship with Jesus. We believe Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost! Not to just sit in a church, but to be noticeably transformed by the reality of the new relationship that occurs when a man or woman repents of their sins, turns to Christ and gives their lives to Him completely!
Most churches today are filled with people who do not represent the testimony of a life truly changed by Christ. The words many speak sound "Christian", but their lifestyles' speak differently.
At the Abilene Christian Center, we welcome everyone; and we encourage all to "Live a Christian Life!" To allow the outward demonstration of your life to represent the inward relationship that you are building in Christ. Here, we will teach you sound biblical principals that will relevantly apply to your life. You will learn how to, and be challenged to grow, mature and develop into a disciple of Jesus; not just a church attender.
We have just opened up in our own building location; 3116 N 1st St; just east of Willis in the harbor freight shopping center. We are praying for converts who want to live a Christian life and for those who are tired of the same ole church and religious dryness. We absolutely believe in the biblically instituted structure of the church; but the church experience should enlarge ones relationship with Christ; not cause it to go dormant!
We invite you to come hear and see what Jesus is doing in peoples lives; but most importantly, what He Can and Will Do in yours!

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services begin with Song. We sing, clap and collectively contend for the Presence of God. We sing songs that are lively, upbeat and inspirational - as well as worship songs that are contemporary and heart-expressed. People will lift their hands as a sign of surrender to Christ, and also to honor Him for all He continually does within our lives. We will then worship God - Praising His Name; many will Praise Him in the Holy Spirit. All is done respectfully, and in order. After prayer for needs and the announcements, we receive the Lords Tithes and Offerings. Then, after all the worship is concluded, there is the preaching of the Word of God. At the conclusion of the message, there is a time of decision to enable those who need Gods Grace in Salvation to respond. We also allow a time where Christians can pray and deal with the very issues that the Holy Spirit challenged them on. After giving the Holy Spirit His Place, we dismiss in prayer, and remind people to not forget their kids in the nursery! :-)

What is the community like?
Friendly, helpful and outgoing. Though we are currently a small church, these folks will genuinely reach out to love you and help you establish a strong relationship with Christ!

What if I'm not a Christian?
Why would you not be?!? Tell me the last time the world ever did what it said it would? A life full of sin hurts! Even if there is some pleasure, it is always temporary. In Christ, the forgiveness, fulfillment, peace and direction you receive is life-changing, and life-long! Jesus said that "He came to give life, and life more abundantly!" - But It doesn't starts until you realize that your sin has separated you from the very God who loves you immeasurably! - Because of your sin, you have undoubtedly experienced the harsh reality of its consequences. - The only way to turn the tide, and change the course of your life, is to repent; (truly ask Jesus to forgive you and then consciously turn from your sinful lifestyle) and ask Jesus to become your Lord and Savior. - Surrendering your life to Him! At the Abilene Christian Center, you will find a church family who will help you with your desire to live a Christian life, and a pastor who will take a personal interest in your development as a new believer! Chad & Jacquelyn Dale

Pastor Chad Dale, his wife Jacque and two of his children moved to Abilene in mid April, 2013 with the call and challenge to establish the Abilene Christian Center. Prior to arriving in Abilene, Pastor Dale spent the past 26 years actively involved in ministry in the small southeastern Arizona town of Safford. With his tenure in ministry, Chad brings a wealth of understanding of biblical truths, and the ability to communicate the gospel in a way most everyone can understand. He also has learned things about the nature of people, and can translate the Word of God into an application of relevance that fits the situation many find themselves in.
